"Corinna" again

8 x 8 oil on canvas

Still under the weather so here's another older
painting from way back. Corinna was one of my
first Pet Portraits. I've always liked her spunky
little attitude and backpack. She looks like her
senses are on alert and she's reverted back to
her ancient Wolf roots...ready to hunt!

Gwen, I don't remember this post, so this is a real treat for me. You've captured the dog's alert personality so wonderfully.
Hope that you are starting to feel better.

Love the colors in this one. Love the light on the ears. And the lime green in her back pack really sings!

Enjoy the holiday and hopefully when you return to painting it will feel fantastic. I think the fact that it is a struggle is part of what keeps us going. Merry Christmas to you.

Gwen, This is great, the nice dark values make the colors pop. Hope by now you are feeling better and back at the easel. We all need to take a break now and then.

Merry Christmas!
