Just finished this commission of this adorable
pair. This was just one of the lovable poses
their Mom sent me for reference.
Gabriel, the cat, is the oldest and is completely
accepting and accommodating to his new rambunctious,
ever growing playmate. Don't you love it when dogs
and cats get along? If only more humans were this
inclusive of others and accepting of the differences!
Another note about Gabriel...he is black as coal but
has white whiskers and one stray one that grows out
of this eyebrow. So unusual!

I'm taking a lesson - next time I see somebody 'different' I'm going to tackle them and lay on top of them until they agree to be my friend! Paco does that to Isabelle, too.. Poor Izzy!

I LOVE it - great expressions! Beautiful painting ... I have a dog who only sees cats as chase toys - none of my friends have cats, so she's never met them up close. One day we'll get a kitten, I'm sure they will be best buddies.
