I know this looks like morning coffee, but it is
strong tea. I recently stopped drinking coffee and
the headaches were horrible. This strong Chai
Tea really hits the spot! Gradually moving toward
Green Tea as the withdrawal gets better.

Beautiful! Love the color palette and the cloth design. Amazing how you can capture every detail. Hope you are feeling better soon! I just drink decaf coffee - still smells yummy. Am sure your Chai Tea is quite good for you. Enjoy.
These patterns that you do are amazing Gwen and the form on the eggs that you created with such subtle temperature shifts are fabulous!
Love the lemons below too!!
Love the colors. Great painting!
Your fabrics are amazing, Gwen! It's such a wonderful series. I am so impressed with the details, color, reflections, temperatures - it's all just great. I especially like the eggs with their colors of warm and cool. Lovely!
This is so great Gwen! Love it!
I love the pattern of the tablecloth. Wonderful job on the cup and eggs, too.
The colors are great Gwen. Very girlish I love it.
Gwen, fantastic eggs! And I really like this patterned fabric. Nice colour combo. I have been trying for some time now to cultivate a love for green tea and it's just not happening. Let me know if you ever get to the place where you crave it ; )
I just love the tablecloths you paint. Sort of a reverse with the patterned cloth and plain cup and eggs. There must be an artistic term for that type of art.
Another lovely piece! And I don't drink coffee either...much prefer tea. If you drink organic tea it is much better for you also. I am trying to get back to painting but it is hard these days with all the stuff I have to do while Bob is away. As my mother always said, "this too will pass." The canvases aren't going anywhere!
Egg-ceptional!!!!!! It is all so colorful and perfect!
Beautiful and appetizing composition.
Give up coffee!!?? I like tea but would have a tough, tough time going to it full time. You must be made of stronger stuff than me! Love the painting.
I marvel at your endless creativity with these beautiful cups and fabrics. you rock!
Soft, creative and delicious!
And you are such a brave lady to give up coffee - I don't think I could face that day.
The pattern on the tablecloth is a winner again. Beautiful painting Gwen.
Great reflections and shadows . Those eggs look so real I am expecting them to roll off the table. LOL.
I drink 2 teas a day and about 4 coffees. I try to keep it at that. but then we in Aussie drink more instant coffee which is not as strong. We mostly take milk in coffee too.
I know when I was in the USA...It was coffee, coffee and more coffee. and coffee to go. wow I soon slowed down.
Keep up the good work Gwen.
Gwen, you did a wonderful job with this. Again! Your whites are so subtle and impressive. Lots of color in there. Beautiful painting.
I gave up drinking coffee years ago when I noticed my hands were shaking at about ten o'clock in the morning. My favorite tea is Earl Gray.
Beautifully painted. Love that fabric, and your composition and subject are just great. The tea color works so well with the dark parts of the fabric. Another winner. I feel that I have so few vices left, I have to at least hang on to the coffee!!!!!
Absolutely stunning!
Hi Gwen,
Whatever it is it's a great painting. Just magnificent. I just dug out a box of Chai tea today for a friend, and I would head back to coffee in an instant if I were you. Chai tea does not hit the spot that coffee does.
Maybe you don't have a choice. If that's true I sympathize.

Oh, white, you are so hard to do! And Gwen... you did such a fine job with all the textures and variations in the whites here!
All I have to say is "I Love It"!
This one is stunning!
So nice Gwen, such a sweet interesting painting. Love those eggs.
i great way to paint white. It turned out great.
Gwen...Another WOW painting with such incredible detail!
The tea looks great Gwen, love those whites!
Great job on this, Gwen!
The mug and eggs are simple yet well done (no pun intended).
You snuck a lot of colors into the white too!
