It's watermelon season and the feasting has begun!
I can eat my weight in watermelon. For 2 months
now I have eaten a big bowl of juicy red melon every
single day.
My compost pile looks like some kids had a
watermelon fight out there...rinds galore! I'm afraid
I've tamed all the Possums and Raccoons by giving
them this wonderful nightly snack. They eat it all
the way down to the green part.

YUM!!!
great job on the watermelon slice! The pattern and colors all work together so well!
You compost too? You are a woman of many talents...wonderful painting Gwen, I love the color!
Love the strong complements. And, great article!
This says summer. Nice, rich pinks.
Yummy colors in this one, Gwen, as well as texture and pattern!
OMG I am painting watermelon today as well.
Your looks beautiful, mine, not yet!
Avec la chaleur qui nous épuise en ce moment en France, quelle bonne idée que celle de croquer ce watermelon ! Quel plaisir des yeux... couleurs magnifiques et énergisantes.
I just love these patterned backgrounds - this one works really well w/the watermelon - nice and refreshing!!!
I LOVE watermelon! I really like this composition with the slice pointing to the detail on the cloth.
Great job on the melon Gwen. Lovely colors.
Crisp and fresh painting. Can just taste it.
After I raid Kim R's shoe closet, I'm heading to your fabric closet. Another wonderful painting. Sure looks like you are enjoying yourself.
It looks soooo tasty! Great job.
I'm with you about watermelon--yum. And your painting looks like the tastiest one of the season!
Fantastic, Gwen! Love the fabric and the watermelon.
Gwen...your backgrounds are great! Love the composition.
I love all your paintings with the fabrics! Congrats on your article. I am on my way to read it.. Thanks for all your advise and inspiration. I want to see a painting of the raccoon eating the watermelon. :)
Great combination of the fruit and the fabric. And the red is so wonderfully saturated. Love it!
