I like the "Pear Pressure" and I bet a lot of folks would get it. It jumped out at me, as I expected to see all green apples at first. It was sort of a pleasant surprise. Made me smile when I realized what you had done.
LOL... Love the painting [perfect shiny green on the fruit] and the title. Perhaps you can use "Pear Pressure" with a composition of three pears and one apple.
Once again an awesome job Gwen. Love the light, shadows and the lovely citrus shades, green yellow. The shadow without going black makes for lovely reflections.

Thank you so much for checking out my Blog and joining me on my new adventure into Fine Art Painting.
I was a Commercial Freelance Artist for 15 years and a Muralist for 10. Now I'm trying my hand at Oil Painting.
I am hoping that this Blog journal will allow me to see style progression. Who knows what the subject will be? Today animals, yesterday Still Life. I'm willing to go anywhere the Muse takes me. I hope you'll follow along with me!

Terrific Gwen!! Love all your green fruit. You are on a roll. Gorgeous.
This is so cute! I immediately understood it. I like both names...
Coming to your blog usually makes me hungry Gwen! These apples sure look good enough to eat!!
You paint these so well! I love the punny title.
These apples are just luscious. They are so well painted. Great composition, too.
Really like the compositon.

You do such a great job with everything you paint. Congratulations on your upcoming show at the Winery!!
Love these gorgeous green apples...looks as though I could reach in a grab one...so real!
Beautiful Gwen, I laughed at the title even
before I saw the pear. So perfect. A great
painting, as always.

Beautiful Gwen, that green is spot on!
Green, green, green, GREEN!
Mmmmm.....
Fun, unique, and smart composition, Gwen!
Love the way they are huddled together.
The lights and darks are expertly blocked in and that dark green shadow near the lower right corner is BEAUTIFUL!
I like that the background color is a dulled down version of the colors used in the apples and pear. I've got to try that next time I do a still life!
I love the color green!!
