This is fantastic! I love tea cups they remind me of when I was young and at my Grandmothers house.

Oh my Gwen, my neighbor has that pattern! You beautifully captured the delicate nature of the cup with the little rosebuds and gold detailing. Becky must be thrilled!

Dang girl! Did you use a one hair brush to paint the gold trim? Amazing!

This is beautiful. This one remind me of my mother in law and her 5 o'clock tea.
Same colors.
Nice piece!

Beautiful and so delicately painted. I can feel the fine bone china looking at it.

Great job Gwen

Hey Gwen! How do you do this????? Please also give me a piece of advice on my first water color painting. I am always inspired by you. The royal blue colors is superb and the way you have used shadow is amazing...I just wait to see your work!

A beautiful piece Gwen. I love the juxtaposition of oil paint surface marking and the intricate design patterning on the cup.

Another elegant tea cup painting, Gwen!

I still say of all the paintings in this particular series, that "Tea Cup II" is the most strongest in terms of color choice and execution!

Just my humble opinion!

Love your teacups!
That's some fine china!
I'd boil some water...
but it's a commission piece.

These are exquisite, Gwen. I happen to collect small teacups (the collection actually started with china cups that were my mother's when she was a small girl), so this is especially appealing to me!
