Meet my new Muse, Mr. Duck McQuakers. He's been staring at
for a while now and begging to be painted. I have a series
of paintings in mind that will feature him. He looks
like a Duck,
sounds like a Duck(doesn't walk like a Duck because he doesn't
have any feet)...but he's not a Duck. He's a HAM!

I absolutely love "Tea and Quakers" both for it's wonderful pun and subject matter. I am a huge fan of the rubber ducky. I have one as my personal valet in my bathroom. Beautiful job on that! :)

fun play of words Gwen and lovely handling of the subject and shadows. i often find things staring at me for many months in my art room before i even realise that they could be subjects for painting:)r.

my comment seemed to get stuck so I'll try again. I love the play on words and the subjects you chose. Who doesn't love a rubby ducky?

Okay Gwen,

You are funny! Who hasn't looked at those rubber ducks and wanted to paint them? They are
such a perfect shape. And yours has eclectic tastes. Super painting.
