"Corinna"

8 x 8 oil on canvas

How about this cute little hiker? She belongs to Justin Devico.
This is a detail from a larger view which is taken from a
gorgeous mountain scene reference that Justin provided.

Gwen, I love this little hiker, Callie. She is adorable! I have to say that I like the background vague like it is, it feels done to me...my 2 cents.

You've really captured the personality of this girl. The light is wonderful. Can't wait to see the finished version.

Yes she's cute! And the colors in this painting are lovely!
Its good that you enjoyed painting on a bigger size.Otherwise, it may look daunting to those who are habituated to working on small sizes.Well this is only my personal opinion!
Kind regards

OMG she's beautiful. You really have a way of portraying an animal's personality - hard to do! Nice job.

This is lovely Gwen, it reminds me I have a couple of dog paintings to get on with. I agree about the size "freeing us up". It does that!
